Belarus to get up to $1bn credit from Russia
Belarus will get credits from Russia – up to $1bn, senior deputy PM Uladzimir Syamashka announced in the programme Contours on ONT. The agreement was reached at Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin’s recent meeting, he noted.
Syamashka: “[The Russian President] also authorized to allocate another 1bn credit on good terms.”
Our country will get the 3rd and 4th tranches of the Eurasian Stabilisation and Development Funds (300 million dollars each). The third tranche has been delayed since last autumn. Russia has also given Belarus an extension on debt repayment in 2017.
