Belarus gets 5 medals at International Islamic Cuisine Festival
The International Islamic Cuisine Festival has finished in Azerbaijan. Belarusian participants have got 5 gold medals at it.
44 gold medals were awarded. 11 of them were won by Azerbaijan, 7 – by Turkey, 5 – by Belarus and Serbia, 4 – by Iran, 3 - by Ukraine and 2 – by Russia.
According to Bakililar.az, the Islamic Cuisine Festival was organized in Baku in connection with the fact that the city had been announced the Capital of Islamic Culture.
The director of the National Culinary Centre of Azerbaijan Tair Amiraslanov announced winners. He said that the jury consisting of cookery experts from different countries had chosen Turkish cooks.
