Belarus not to ban Roshen candies
Deputy healthcare minister Ihar Hayeuski says Ukrainian sweets Roshen will not be banned in Belarus.
Russia has forbidden the import of Ukrainian Roshen candies recently – some violations of quality and safety standards were revealed in them (Russian inspectors found benzpyrene in them). Russia announced that Roshen products did not correspond to the Customs Union standards. Kazakhstan also started checking Roshen products last week.
"The check-up ill continue, however, we have not found any reason to ban Roshen products yet,” RIA Novosti quotes Ihar Hayeuski. “There are no abnormalities in them,” he added.
Nevertheless, Belarus has stopped the transit of Roshen products to Russia today.
