Belarus Olympic ice hockey team heads to Canada
Team Belarus on February 8 departed for Canada to take part in the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, reports Belta. The Belarusian players will have two friendly matches against Switzerland on February 9 and 11.
Four NHL representatives -- Ruslan Salei, Mikhail Grabovski and Andrei and Sergei Kostitsyn -- will not play in the sparrings with Switzerland. In fact, they are not yet confirmed to join the team. But coach Mikhail Zakharov has named Salei as the skipper.
