Belarus prices up more than in Russia, Ukraine in January
The consumer prices in Belarus have grown at almost 2 percent in January 2007, according to the data from the Ministry of Statistics.
The figure does not take into account a sharp increase in the costs of communal services. According to the forecast from the Belarus's Central Bank, inflation should not go beyond 6-8 percent this year.
But, it looks like almost the third part of the inflation forecast has already been met in January alone. The prices grew faster in Belarus than in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia and Estonia in January 2007.
