Belarus ranked 109th in international welfare index
International Living magazine has released a welfare index, which is topped by France and followed by Australia, Switzerland, Germany and New Zealand, reports Komsomolskaya Pravda. The United States is raned 7th. Lithuania is at the highest position among the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Lithuania is in the first 25 outrunning even Great Britain, Greece and Sweden.
Poland is at the 35th position; Latvia -- 40; Belarus -- 109; Russia -- 111.
According to the index, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Chad, Afghanistan and Sierra-Leone are the worst countries to live in.
