Belarus ranked 123rd in Corruption Perceptions Index

This is reflected in the Corruption Perceptions Index, published by the NGO Transparency International from Berlin.

The rating makers base on the polls and information about corruption in every concrete country, collected by different organizations. This year they covered 177 states.

Belarus' neighbours occupied the following places in the Corruption Perceptions Index: Poland is 38th, Lithuania shares place #43 with Slovenia, Latvia is 49th, Russia - 127th.

The lowest corruption level is traditionally noted in Denmark and new Zealand. The most horrible situation is in the DPRK, Somali and Afghanistan.
