Belarus is ready to sign Customs Code without exceptions
Belarus is ready to sign the Customs Code without exceptions. The deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Andrei Eudachenka has claimed it. According to BelaPAN, the official claimed that the Customs Code signed by the Prime Ministers of Russia and Kazakhstan in Saint Petersburg on May 28 is a document containing exceptions.
Eudachenka has confessed that Belarus and Russia have encountered a lot of discord in the formation of the Custom Union recently. He noted that there was no single policy for import duties and export customs tariffs. Russia admits the presence of customs duties in the mutual trade of the three states even after the introduction of the Customs Union on July 1. Belarus strongly objects to it, has claimed the official.
Let us remind you that a meeting of Alyaksandr Lukashenka with Dmitry Medvedev has to take place in Moscow on June 11. Prospects of the Customs Union will be discussed there.
