Belarus tax inspectors target Russia-funded companies
The Belarus revenue authorities have launched inspections of the Minsk-based companies that have trade contacts with the neighboring Russia.
According to unofficial sources, tax inspectors have been ordered to focus on the companies that are co-funded by the Russian capital.
In Minsk alone, around 700 such firms and organizations are to be checked. The Belarus Ministry of Revenues does not confirm this information, saying they are "doing a scheduled work".
Independent observers suggest the inspection has been caused by the Russia-Belarus row, which has already acquired features of a permanent conflict, reports bulletinonline.org.
