Belarus tourists in trouble in Russian sea
Rescue service in Russia's Khabarovsk region today received SOS signals from the area near the Shantarsk Islands in the Okhotskoye Sea.
In the first case, a tourist from Komsomolsk-on-Amur was reportedly killed by a bear. In the second case, SOS signal was sent by a group that comprises tourists from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia.
The tourists were travelling on a launch boat, but its engine failed down. They are requesting the local authorities to airlift them by a helicopter, but rescuers promised to send help only tomorrow morning due to bad weather conditions today, reports the Russian news agency Itar-Tass.
