Belarusian economy to need $37 billion investment this year
The Belarusian economy is supposed to require a $37 billion investment by the end of 2010. According to “Interfax”, the head of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vasil Ramanau claimed it at a meeting of the Russian economic forum in Minsk. He said that the government expected to get a third of the sum with the help of foreign investment.
Ramanau noted that foreign investment in the Belarusian economy had totaled $9.3 billion the previous year. Direct investment exceeded $4.9 billion.
