Belarusian left-wingers lay flowers on Lenin’s monument in Minsk
Representatives of the Belarusian Communist Party have laid flowers on the monument to Lenin in Independence Square in Minsk. About 40 party members took part in the ceremony. The head of the BCP Syarhei Kalyakin has claimed that the October Revolution that took place 92 years ago resulted in “…a few mistakes. However, a lot of additional achievements workers have been making use of for many years were made thanks to the revolution”.
Kalyakin also claimed that but for the revolution, there wouldn’t have been any independent Belarusian state.
Representatives of the Belarusian Communist Party and a civil association “For the Union and the Union’s Communist Party” have also laid flowers on the monument to Lenin today, reports an information agency “BelaPAN”.
