Belarusian nuclear power plant to start functioning before 2020
Belarus is going to start using its own nuclear power plant till 2020. The deputy Minister of Energy Mihail Mihadzuik has informed about it at a press conference in Minsk.
He explained that a programme of staff preparation for the construction, exploitation and supervision of the Belarusian nuclear plant was being worked out with participation of the Ministry of Education and the Academy of Sciences.
Moreover, there is an agreement with the IAEA according to which our specialists will be educated in international centres and will work on probation at existing nuclear power plants and special training apparatus.
