Belarusian opposition meets Canadian Prime Minister

The visit of the Belarusian opposition delegation to Canada continues. A one-hour hearing has taken place in the Canadian Parliament. The opposition members have presented detailed information about the current situation in Belarus to Canadian deputies under oath, informs Radio “Liberty”. The Belarusian delegation has also met the Minister of Migration and the Minister of Foreign Commerce. They have also had a 15-minute meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

A press conference of the Belarusian delegation and a meeting with representatives of business circles has taken place in the National press centre of Canada. Prospects of the organization of an investment forum in Minsk have been discussed there.
