Belarusians actively buy real estate in Lithuania
Saulis Vagonis, a representative of the international real estate agency Ober-haus has claimed it at a press conference in Vilnius today.
According to Ober-hous, Russians and Belarusians bought more than 100 dwelling units in Lithuania in the last six months. According to Vagonis, such buyers are “more active than Lithuanians” in resort cities.
The desire of Russians and Belarusians to buy real estate in Lithuania may be caused by nostalgia, a desire to be able to travel freely across the EU or to make money on it, reports DELFI.
