Belarusians to be able to appeal state bodies’ decisions in court
One of the bills that will be considered by the House of Representatives today contains this norm.
The House of Representatives will consider a number of norms on April 9. One of them is the bill On amendments and changes to the law on environmental protection and ecological decisions. It will be presented by deputy head of the commission for ecology, nature management and Chernobyl catastrophe Ala Navumchuk.
Navumchyk: "The public will be able to take part in the discussion and will even be able to appeal the decisions of state bodies in court.”
The bill will allow the public to take an active part in the discussion of decisions planned by state bodies, Navumchyk said. If the bill is approved, officials will have to react to every appeal even if it is an e-mail. If some decisions are not taken, state bodies will have to give people an explanation.
