Belarus's negative foreign trade balance exceeds $3bn
Belarus's negative foreign trade balance in January-October 2007 has exceeded $3 billion (up $522 million in October). The volume of foreign trade in goods amounted at almost $42 billion in the past ten months of the year, up 21.4 percent against the same period in 2006.
The import of goods has grown by 17.9 percent, reaching almost $19.5 billion, reports AFN, citing the Belarus's Ministry of Statistics.
Belarus's negative balance in trade with CIS countries has reached $5,844 billion and $6,188 with Russia. The positive balance in trade with CIS countries amounted to $2,678 billion.
