Russia resumes oil supplies to Belarus / BELTA
Russian company Transneft has started supplying oil to Belarusian refineries.
"I confirm that oil supplies to the Belarusian refineries have begun in accordance with the formalized route orders," Euroradio has learned from the press secretary of Belneftekhim Alyaksandr Tsishchanka. "We have been dealing with this issue, and today the work has started."
However, he did not specify which companies will supply oil to Belarus in April. According to the press secretary, this will be announced later.
In April, Belarus expects to receive up to 2 million tons of oil at the refineries in Navapolack and Mazyr. The Belarusian side is planning to buy crude oil at $4 per barrel. The premium to Russian suppliers is planned to be paid on the basis of 'inter-budgetary arrangement' between Belarus and Russia.
