Workers of Babruisk plant Belshyna may be forbidden to bring smartphones, tablets and other means of communication at work after the New Year’s Day. The administration is preparing the corresponding document now, onliner.by reports.
The administration wants to protect the enterprise commercial secret this way. Employees will be allowed to use simple mobile phones without cameras. However, even such phones will be banned from meetings with the CEO and his deputies.
The idea is still being discussed and changes will be accepted until December 18, Belshyna administration said.
Such measures may only be applied to people having access to commercial secrets if they have signed the corresponding documents, lawyer Syaheri Zakratski told onliner.by. Otherwise, it is a violation of workers’ rights, the lawyer thinks.
