Boxing: Lyakhovich to clash with Valuyev on Jan 12

Belarus's Syarhey Lyakhovich and Russia's Nikolay Valuyev are scheduled to clash on January 12, 2008 to decide who will officially contend the WBA heavy-weight champion title.  Valuyev is a WBA ex-world champion, while Lyakhovich is a WBO ex-world champion. The current WBA champion title is in the hands of Uzbekistan's Ruslan Chagayev. The winner in Lyakhovich vs Valuyev fight will clash with Chagayev.

Boxers' agents are in talks to define the venue of the clash by November 2.
