IT specialist in Brest sentenced to 1.5 years for comments about Lukashenka

An IT specialist Aliaksandr Zanouski, 37 was recently sentenced to 1.5 years in a minimum-security penal colony. He was found guilty of publicly insulting Lukashenka (Article 368 (1) of the Criminal Code), human rights activists of the Viasna Center report.
Judge Ina Klyshpach pronounced the sentence in Brest's Maskouski district court.
The charges were based on two comments that Zanouski had left under the posts in the telegram channel "Belarus of the Brain" designated as extremist in Belarus. One message was written on February 24, 2022, under the news that Russian troops were entering Ukraine from the territory of Belarus. The comment read: "The cockroach has already become Putin's puddle))))."
The second comment appeared on April 7, 2022 (during the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia on a ceasefire) under the news with Lukashenka's quote that "there can be no negotiations without the participation of Belarus". According to the prosecution, Zanouski wrote: "He doesn't decide anything anymore. Putin's dog."
