15 people were unhurt after a commuter bus caught fire after short circuit in southern Belarus.
Press secretary of Homel Province Emergency Control Ministry Ruslan Hablrylyou told Euroradio:
“The regular bus Vetka-Nehlyubka had just left the town when the engine compartment caught fire. Our employee was heading for work in Vetka District and he helped evacuate the people. They broke the windows.”
The bus was damaged but all the passengers were evacuated successfully, Ruslan Habrylyou added. The fire could be caused by an electric wiring shorting.
