Campaign for snap elections kicks off in Ukraine
The campaign for snap parliamentary elections scheduled for December 7, 2008, has kicked off in Ukraine.

Ukraine's president has sent a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, noting the the Cabinet was obliged to allocate money for the snap elections from the reserve fund. However, Tymoshenko was defiant to respond that no elections would take place, reports Interfax.
Ukraine's president Victor Yuschenko dissolved the parliament on the grounds that On September 2 the ruling coalition broke up and no new coalition was formed within the term defined by the Constitution. This is the second snap election within slightly more than one year.
