CIS Commercial Court to consider Belarus' 'oil lawsuit' against Russia on September 7
The CIS Commercial Court has set a hearing of Belarus' lawsuit over oil export duties against Russia for September 7. The decision was made on Thursday, June 24, reports Prime Tass news agency. The CIS Commercial Court recommended the goverments of Belarus and Russia to consider possibilities in order to settle the dispute peacefully, under the CIS Commercial Court's procedures.
Belarus protested earlier against Russian citizen Yury Mishalchenko to act as a general adviser at the process. The court rejected the motion because Belarus failed to provide evidence that Mishalchenko is partial or dependent.
