Collection of signatures in Hrodna
A collection of signatures for the appeal to the Office of Public Prosecutor has been started in Hrodna. The reason for it is the “reconstruction” of the Old Town in Hrodna. The appeal draws attention to numerous violations of laws of the Republic of Belarus. Most violations are connected with preserving historic and cultural heritage and with pointless usage of money.
According to the action’s organizers, a lot of facts of law violation have been noted since the authorities started the “reconstruction” of the old Hrodna which can be proved by many acts.
The organizers also note that the appeal to the Office of Public Prosecutor is only part of a big campaign aimed at saving the Old Town.
