Cycle race in honour of Bułak-Bałachowicz to take place in Warsaw (photo)
A cycle race in honour of Stanisław Bułak-Bałachowicz will be organized in Warsaw streets on May 15. The event will begin near the monument to de Gaulle. Participants of the race will head towards the tablet dedicated to Bałachowicz in Paris Street, 27. The race will finish near the Powązki Cemetery where the symbolic grave of Bułak-Bałachowicz can be found.
The event is organized by an initiative “Belarusian National Memory”. The head of the BNM Anatol Mihnavets has told ERB that Bułak-Bałachowicz will be commemorated for the first time. Actions of the kind have never been organized before so it has been decided to organize a cycle race.
