Dalia Grybauskaitė's visit to Belarus does not mean she supports Lukashenka before elections
Such statement has been made by the presidential advisor Laurynas Jonavicius in his interview to the Lithuanian radio Ziniu radijas.
According to his words reported by BelaPAN, the Belarusian leader does not need support at the elections as he is feeling very confident.
Jonavicius stated that Dalia Grybauskaitė had visited Belarus in connection with the fact that Lithuania would head OSCE in 2011. The visit of the Lithuanian leader, according to her advisor, was aimed at conveying the idea that OSCE hope for fair, open and democratic elections, to the President of Belarus.
Let us remind you, Grybauskaitė visited Belarus on October 20. A series of Belarusian and Lithuanian political scientists considered her working visit to Minsk as support of the current Belarusian leader in view of the upcoming presidential elections.
