Detained doctors cooperate with Investigation Committee
Five medical staff at Ecomedservice center were detained on Friday over the death of a plastic surgery patient.
The director of the medical centre, anaesthesiologist, two nurses and the surgeon who was in charge of Yuliya Kubarava’s nose correction operation are being interrogated.
The Ministry of Health investigated the girl’s death and revealed rude violations of the medical assistance rules that led to the tragedy. The Investigation Committee started a criminal case for negligence.
The detained are being interrogated now, Interfax-West reports. A number of check-ups are being conducted, the investigators have collected thes documents connected wit the dead patient and the equipment sued during the operation has been confiscated. Yuliya Kubarava’s parents will give evidence today.
