Dobrush paper-mill “Labour Hero” gets suspended
Dobrush paper-mill “Labour Hero” has been suspended today, on December 24. The whole staff (except the state services) will go on vacations till January 12, informs Radio “Liberty”.
There are almost 1200 employees at the factory now. A third of the employees have not used their vacations yet. The others will have to go on obligatory vacations and will get two thirds of their wages based on the average monthly rate of 220 thousand roubles.
Christmas vacations at “Labour Hero” have been caused by the financial crisis that has caused the factory to lose its clients. The factory cannot store goods until they are bought because it has no turnover means and so on. Ukraine has refused from Dobrush products due to the collapse of the hryvnia. And Russian clients are going on Christmas vacations.
