Domracheva to get $150K for victory
Belarus' biathlon star Darya Domracheva is eligible for a $150-thousand award from the state after winning the Olympic gold medal in Sochi.
The Belarusian biathlete won the sprint yesterday. Her medal has become Belarus’ first gold medal at the Olympic Games in Sochi.
Domracheva will donate 100 million roubles to Olympic reserve sport school #1 in the project Olympic Choice. The biathlete chose the school herself.
The project Olympic Choice is a joint large-scale project of the Presidential Sports Club, National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sport aimed at supporting children’s sport in our country.
