Dzerzhynski Ave - traffic movement gets blocked due to police van (photo)
The driver had to pull out the road sign to drive along the narrow road.
The traffic movement was blocked in Dzerzhynski Ave on March 25 at about 9 a.m. A big number of automobiles which moved in the direction to the center of Minsk, got jammed. The reason for this was a police van, which was going in the inner lane and failed to squeeze between a Mercedes and the road signs.
The vehicles could not scrape by until the police van driver pulled out the road sign and threw it aside.
Let us remind you, Freedom Day is marked today in Belarus. National forces have a tradition to mark this day by a festive rally and a demonstration. The authorities allowed only the demonstration in the Bangalore Square this year, and the applicants took the decision not to conduct the street rally at all. Celebration format has been changed: one part of the opposition goes to Yanka Kupala Park to put flowers to the momument, another one - to Yakub Kolas Square.
