Dzimtry Kaldun is drafted but he is not going to serve in the army
The singer Dzmitry Kaldun is drafted to the Belarusian Army. According to him, he has received call-up papers from Minsk military registration and enlistment office and found out he had to arrive for the autumn call-up. “I will not be able to go there because I am recording new songs in Russia now”, - said Kaldun in an interview to a Mocsow newspaper “Tvoi Den”.
Let us remind you that the singer missed the previous call-up due to an adjournment because he was studying at the university. By the way, Kaldun has not managed to graduate because he was participating in “Eurovision” and will have to retake his exams in autumn.
In an interview given to the Russian newspaper Kaldun claimed that he was not going to serve in the army at all:
“Am I crazy? Why would I serve in the army? I have a contract with my producer for 6 years. Moreover, my tours are scheduled for two years!”
