Elderly TikTok blogger from Belarus marries Lithuanian subscriber

Žlobin authorities registered the marriage of 87-year-old Boris and 76-year-old Halina. The unusual marriage ceremony was reported to the Justice Department of the Homiel Regional Executive Committee.

Halina lives in the village of Novaja Korma, where she has a house, a vegetable garden of 15 hectares, 50 ducks, three pigs, two cats, and a dog. As a hobby, she shoots videos and posts them on TikTok.
"Boris was my subscriber. He commented on videos and liked my content. After a year and a half of courtship, he said, "I can't do it anymore; I'm coming to visit you!" 
"I didn't take it seriously - he only saw me in photos, and it's a long way from Lithuania to us," says Halina. But the Lithuanian Boris came to Žlobin, and from there, he called to clarify the address.
"I met him, took him in, and he stayed with me," says Halina. According to her, the man adapted easily to the village and began helping with household chores. The woman admits that she missed a man's hand. Now, they are applying for a residence permit for Boris in Belarus.

The couple has 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
