EU renders financial assistance to Belarus – €1.5 million
The money will be spent on fighting wild animals’ deceases.
The European Union will provide Belarus with 1.5 million euro for fighting wild animals’ deceases. The agreement was signed in the Belarusian Embassy to France yesterday. It was signed by the Belarusian, Lithuanian and Latvian Ministries of Agriculture and Nutrition.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Nutrition Vasil Pivavar and Belarusian Ambassador Pavel Latushka took part in the ceremony, BELTA reports.
The EU may ‘help strengthen Belarus’ economic independence by giving us access to the resources of European financial institutions’, deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belarus Alena Kupchyna hopes. The EU may also help our country by supporting its application for membership in the World Trade Organization.
