European cycle track championship to take place in Minsk in July 2009

The European cycle track championship will take place in Minsk from July 15 till July 19. The Secretary General of the European Cycling Union (UEC) Roland Hofer informed about it. 450 sportsmen from 48 countries will participate in the championship. The competitions will be organized for elite racers, for the youth (under the age of 23) and for juniors. 30 sets of medals will be available for sportsmen in individual and teams’ tournaments.
