European Union condemns another death sentence in Belarus
The European Union is worried about another death sentence pronounced in Belarus. It is said in the appeal distributed by the press service of the EU representative office in Minsk on Monday.
The European Union has urged Belarus to cancel death penalty again and to impose a moratorium on its usage first of all, informs BelaPAN.
Let us remind you that Minsk Regional Court returned two inhabitants of Salihorsk District guilty of the murder of two collective farmers of “Bolshevik-Agro” who transported wages on July 17. The court sentenced the 25-eyar-old inhabitant of Salihorsk to capital punishment and his accomplice was sentenced to life imprisonment.
A 30-year-old killer of aged women was sentenced to death in June.
