Ex-political prisoner Zmitser Dashkevich jailed for 3 days
He has been accused of disobedience to the police.
Journalist Barys Haretski managed to attend the hearing in Mink Central District Court and told Euroradio about it.

Haretski: "The hearing only took 5 minutes. Two witnesses (policemen) spoke. They said that Dashkevich did not obey to their demands, sat on the ground and refused to go away… The usual “kit”… Dashkevich replied that he did not do anything like that, urged them not to participate in such political hearings and quit their work in the police to avoid sullying their names and life.”
Zmitser Dashkevich was detained on Wednesday afternoon. He was collecting signatures in order to rename Lenin Street back to Frantsishkanskaya Street, Euroradio reported earlier.
Dashkevich will be released on November 9.
