Exhibition of Ivan Khrutski's works opens in Paris
The exhibition "Ivan Khrutski: creativity in the dialogue of cultures" has been opened on September 22 in UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The exhibition is timed to coinside with the 200th anniversary of the artist's birthday. The artist is considered to be on of the founders of Russian still-life painting. According to BelaPAN, the exhibition has been organized by the Permanent Delegation of Belarus to UNESCO together with the National Arts Museum of our country.
Besides, Khrutski's anniversary has been included into the list of memorable dates of 2010-2011 by UNESCO General Conference, upon the suggestion of the National Commission of Belarus on UNESCO.
The exhibition will last till September 27.
