Expert: Russian diversionists flee from Sloviansk
The Ukrainian riot police liquidated 3 roadblocks near Sloviansk and killed 5 militants on the morning of April 24.
Then the riot police retreated to their previous positions. Sloviansk separatists’ resistance was very weak, they noted.
“Russian solders are leaving Sloviansk”, Ukrainian military expert Dmitri Tymchuk wrote on Facebook. Strelkov’s subversive group was active in the area and ruled separatists, Ukrainian special services reported earlier. An audio connected with the abduction and murder of Ukrainian deputy Vladimir Rybak has appeared today.
The special operation in Sloviansk is mostly conducted by the Ukrainian MIA, Tymchuk noted. APCs are blocking the area. If the Ukrainian authorities are really using the army in Sloviansk, it is a serious crime, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed earlier today.
