Famous fantasy writer Terry Pratchett dies
The classic of ironic fantasy was suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Renowned English fantasy writer Terry Pratchett died at the age of 66 on March 12, the writer’s official Facebook page reports.
The writer announced that he was suffering from Alzheimer's disease a few years ago. Pratchett started supporting euthanasia at that time.
Pratchett is best known for his Discworld series. He was the second popular writer in Great Britain in the 1990s. He sold 75 copies of his book during his career.
Pratchett was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1998.
