Festive parade in Minsk (photo, video)
On July 3 Belarus celebrated the Independence Day and the 70th anniversary of liberation from the German-fascist invaders.
A festive parade and a theatrical rally were held in Minsk on this occasion on Thursday night. More than 3 700 military men marched through the city center, over 240 specimen of various military machinery, including Russian ones like "Iskander" launcher vehicles, rocket complexes C-400, "Tiger" armoured multi-aim vehicles, went in the mechanized column. 4 dozens planes and helicopters, both Russian and Belarusian, crossed the sky.
Tractors, harvesters and prime movers manufactured in Belarus also participated in the parade. The sportsmen's rally took place later. The celebration ended with the mass anthem singing and the festive fireworks.
