Fireworks in Pinsk cancelled because of Minsk blast

Pinsk authorities have cancelled festive fireworks planned for July 14 - the Day of releasing Pinsk from Nazi invaders. The reason for it was their inability to provide citizens’ security during mass events in the town.
Our reporter Hleb Paulouski comes up with some details:

"Pinskers think that the cancellation was caused by Minsk explosion and are not really disappointed with it because there are quite a lot of similar festivals getting organized in Pinsk in spring, summer and autumn. They are May 9 (Victory Day), July 3 (Independence Day), July 14 (Day of release of Pinsk), July 26 – Day of release of Belarus and the fist week of September – Town Day”.

The programme of the festival in Pinsk includes a requiem meeting, laying flowers to the monument to partisans and a musical performance.
