First New Year petard victims in Minsk
A man and a child were injured on Tuesday when trying to launch petards in Minsk. Both of them sustained minor hand burns. After receiving first aid, they were released from the hospital, reports Interfax. Meanwhile, the police in Minsk has continued urging the population not to purchase low quality smuggled petards which can be dangerous to people.
Last year, over 100 people were injured by petards in Minsk. Two years ago, a young woman hit by a petard rocket died.
