Former presidential contender Ryzhou goes to court to regain his job
Former presidential contender Syarhei Ryzhou is at law with his former employers in connection with his dismissal. The hearing has started today, on December 6.
Let us remind you that Ryzhou was dismissed from Vitsebsk fruit and vegetable plant where he used to head the foreign-economic activity department.
Ryzhou thinks that the dismissal is connected with his participation in the presidential election campaign. He said it in an interview with Euroradio.
Ryzhou: “I was fired on Novembers 1. I think that my dismissal can be explained by my attempt to run for President. I have lodged a complaint to Vitsebsk District Court. The judge refused to consider the information I had presented because I was persecuted by the Belarusian authorities”.
Ryzhou says that the hearing will finish at 4.15 p.m. today. The politician is sure that its results will be negative.
