Four taxes cancelled on January 1

Four taxes were cancelled in Belarus on January 1. Enterprises and businessmen have been exempt from the dues of the agricultural producers’ support fund, the local retail tax, the vehicle purchase tax and the parking tax. However, the value added tax has increased by 2% for the first time since three years ago, reports the STV channel. However, the income tax received in the form of dividends has been reduced by half – to 12%. On the whole, the tax burden for business has been reduced by 0.5%.
