Gang that trafficked Belarus women into sex-trade stands trial in Poland

The gang will stand trial in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Lubusz Voivodeship.

The accused are owners of Gorzów Wielkopolski brothels, guards, barmen, taxi drivers and people who advertised the services in the local press. Three of them are accused of recruiting six women in Belarus.

Polish and Ukrainian women also worked in the brothels. The gang was created at the end of the 1990s. The case was started after one of the women had informed the police about it, Polska Agencja Prasowa reports.
