Gas price for Belarus may drop due to decrease in oil prices

The price for Russian gas sold to Belarus may be lowered as compared to the first quarter due to a decrease in oil prices. The statement has been made by the Russian Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov.
According to him, the gas price should not be lower than 200 dollars during the first three months of 2009: “The price may drop in the second quarter of the year but it will not be lowered by more than 7% according to the gas price formula”, - “Interfax” quotes the diplomat.
