“Gazpram” would like to decrease transit expenses in Belarus in 2011
“Beltransgaz” may buy 22.5 million cubic meters of gas for 5.625 million dollars from “Gazprom” in 2011, informs RIA “Novosti”. Shareholders of “Gazprom” have approved the corresponding agreements at an annual meeting today.
The agreements also provide for the fact that “Beltransgaz” will not allow to transit more than 48.2 million cubic meters of Russian gas with the help of its part of the Yamal-Europe pipeline in 2011. “Gazprom” expects to spend about $600 million on gas transit across Belarus. Belarus is planning to get up to $700 million from Russia this year.
