General Prosecutor’s Office: Statkevich has stopped hunger-strike
The General Prosecutor’s Office has checked the living conditions of the people detained in the KGB detention centre, the institution has informed BelTA about it.
It has been admitted that the detention regime “corresponds to the norms” and that their health condition is satisfactory. It was also noted that Mikalai Statkevich, a former presidential candidate, had stopped his hunger-strike on January 12.
"The persons imprisoned in the KGB detention centre did not lodge any complaints during the check-up”, - added the General Prosecutor’s Office.
