Georgia ratifies EU association agreement
It has been done at the third Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.
"The agreement put us into the legal framework of integration into the European Union,” interfax.by reports quoting deputy Georgian Minister for Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliyani.
This is not an agreement on joining the EU, the diplomat said. However, the agreement will make the process of European integration irreversible. Georgia is entering a very important stage of integration into the European Union, Zalkaliyani noted.
